Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Is My Job Worth It? ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

Subscription & Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed annually and auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Not Financial Advice

The Service provides informational tools and estimates only. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, tax, legal, or retirement planning advice. Results are based on simplified models of federal retirement rules and may not reflect your exact situation. Consult a qualified financial advisor before making career or retirement decisions.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on calculator results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Data We Collect

Account data: Your email address when you create an account (via email/password or Google sign-in).

Billing data: Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never see or store your card number.

Calculator data: Your calculation inputs and results are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). If you save scenarios, they are stored in your private Firestore account.

What We Don't Do

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used and improve the experience.

Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and Stripe for payment processing. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account from your profile page. When your account is deleted, your stored scenarios and account data are permanently removed from our systems.
